Mr. Andrew Ogaga, is a co-Founder and Managing Partner of Marix Associates LLC overseeing end to end business development activities coupled with strategy formulation and prioritization of market and product development. Mr. Ogaga’s career spans over fifteen years of combined professional experience in consulting and global payments. His areas of functional expertise boast a rich mix of strategy, product management, financial planning and analysis leveraged to drive growth, adoption and customer acquisition in emerging products and services.
Most recently, as Head of CFO Pricing Strategy for Western Union, Mr. Ogaga, oversaw pricing strategy and governance for the consumer money transfer business. In this role, working with cross-functional team across the globe, he managed concept-to-launch projects that drove revenue growth and extended reach of the product to new consumers.
Prior to his role in pricing strategy, he worked in the corporate finance team of Western Union where he contributed to numerous successful go-to-market activations in the U.S. and in numerous international markets while working in Austria and Hong Kong (SAR).
Mr. Ogaga began his career as a Business Analyst with Hewitt Associates (now Aon) providing client support in the HR consulting practice. He would later join the pension consulting practice of Mercer Consulting as a Consulting Assistant taking on added the responsibility of client support.
Mr. Ogaga earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and holds an MA degree in Management from the University of East London, Stratford, United Kingdom. In addition, he holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, of the University of Maryland.
