Mr. Ubiaro is a co-Founder of Marix and Practice Lead for the Infrastructure consulting division with responsibility for leading all Infrastructure projects from an engineering, project/program and commercial management perspective. Mr Ubiaro also plays a crucial function within Marix in advising clients around the globe on all Infrastructure related contractual and claims matters. Beyond engineering consulting, Mr. Ubiaro possesses a deep expertise in setting up construction contracts with an ultimate goal to avoid claims and how best to deal with claims when they do unavoidably occur.

Prior to co-founding Marix, Mr. Ubiaro served in senior management roles so as to realize both medium and long-range corporate goals over the last 20 years for firms such as Houston Metro, South East Water, Aurecon Group and MG Consultants Ltd.

Mr. Ubiaro has worked closely with executive management teams of numerous large, multi-national corporations to help them formulate their transformation agendas and then partner shoulder-to-shoulder to deliver lasting change. In addition to client service, Mr. Ubiaro has led professional Infrastructure teams to delivery major Infrastructure projects within the continents of Africa, Asia, Australia, USA and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Ubiaro began his career as a Civil Engineer with Hyder Consulting Engineers, Montgomery Watson and Southern Water where he was responsible for developing a number of civil infrastructure projects for various quasi-public utility firms.

Mr. Ubiaro earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Westminster, a master’s degree in Construction Management from London South Bank University and received his LLB(Hons) in Law from the Nottingham Law School. Mr. Ubiaro is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers-UK. Further, Mr. Ubiaro is a member of the Construction Law Society and an Associate Member of the Institution of Chartered Arbitrators.
